This is Guardians, where we had our nightly SL meetings. It had two bathrooms, an annoying alarm clock, and a kitchen. And a broken 50's soda machine.

Outside Dining Hall
This is outside the Namanu dining hall. I spent many a cold morning waiting for a kid to pick me so I could go inside, and many a chilled evening wishing it was bedtime after dinner, and not campfire. |
Inside Dining Hall
This is an inside photo of the building above. Big contrast, no? It's so warm there...we had our "night time meetings" here, Social Hour. It was a nice place to be before our unheated cabin. (The heater was broken almost all week.) |
Lunch Time!
This is one of the many famous Namanu meals. The food at ODS was so delicious, and after all day wandering I ate more than I ever do with all my junk food at home. Tells you something about society...we're fucked. |

Outdoors
No ODS page is complete without a true picture of nature, and this picture struck me as quite interesting, though I'm not sure why. It's a rock on the Namanu Plants hike. |
